NATIONAL PARENTAL CONFERENCE

Comann nam Pàrant (Nàiseanta), in conjunction with Bòrd na Gàidhlig, are to hold a national conference in March 2009. A detailed programme will be circulated nearer the time.

The conference will highlight best current practice in Gaelic medium education, and CnP(N) is hoping for a good turn-out of parents so that we can learn from each other and be involved in discussing important issues, such as – Gaelic schools, Gaelic medium childcare, strengthening and developing Gaelic primary departments, secondary provision etc.

Childcare will be available in Gaelic throughout the day for children age 3-12. This will be in the Inverness Gaelic School and cost £5 per child.
